The service builds infrastructure giving street cats and pets a visual identity (CatID) for connection with guardians, neighbors, vets, and municipal services. Core priorities include animal safety, privacy-by-design, and cats-only use.
This Policy explains information collection, use, disclosure, and protection for CatHunter services at cathunter.app. Using the Service acknowledges this Policy. The company requests consent where required by law (push notifications, optional analytics); otherwise, it relies on other legal bases.
Essential cookies/ID equivalents support security, log-in, and core functionality. Future optional analytics cookies will include consent choices where required.

The service uses AI analyzing cat features and scene characteristics for identification, tagging, and search improvement.
To advance scientific research and animal welfare, the company may share de-identified or aggregated data derivatives via limited sublicenses with Research Partners solely for research/welfare purposes (population studies, vaccination planning, shelter capacity planning).
Sublicenses include written agreements requiring:

The service employs commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures protecting data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No system achieves 100% security; responsible Service use is recommended.

Policy updates take effect upon publication in the App or website. Continued use after publication constitutes acknowledgment. English version prevails if translations differ.
